Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 30 weeks on Easter Sunday

Baby size: According to Bump.com, she's the size of a squash. It doesn't specify what kind of squash, so I'm not really sure how this helps me. :)  This week her brain is getting more grooves and indentations and her grip is strong enough to grasp a finger.

Maternity Clothes: Most of the time, I have several pre-pregnancy dresses and skirts that I can still wear with stretchy shirts.

Gender: Female, Olivia Michele Bainbridge.

Movement: I swear that she's having a rave in there sometimes.

Cravings: Not really. We have a ton of Easter candy that I'm trying to not eat too quickly because I don't need a candy baby and a real baby all at the same time.

Symptoms: Acid reflux, some Braxton Hicks contractions and a fairly constant need to pee.

29 Weeks

Yea... I know that I'm now 29 weeks and 4 days today, which is almost 30 weeks and this posting is several days late. My bad. :)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 29 weeks this past Sunday

Baby size: About 15.5 inches long and 2.25 lbs. According to parents.com, she the size of a pair of sneakers... hopefully, she doesn't smell like them.

Maternity Clothes: Most of the time, I have several pre-pregnancy dresses and skirts that I can still wear with shirts that are stretchy and a cardigan. But I am taking some clothes to Becca this weekend that I've outgrown so she can wear them for graduation activities. :)

Gender: Female, Olivia Michele Bainbridge.

Movement: My belly is almost always dancing.

Cravings: Not really. I really like fruit popsicles but that's becasue it helps me to ignore the discomfort of the acid reflux.

Symptoms: Acid reflux, some Braxton Hicks contractions, a fairly constant need to pee and it is becoming harder for me to sleep through the night but that might just be the weather changing and once we get the house cool enough again, I'll be fine.

Universal Studios pics - really, really late....

My bad, folks. I just couldn't get my tushie in gear and get all of these pictures uploaded in a timely manner.

Hogwarts castle.

We busted our booties, along with several hundred of our closest friends, to make it into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter before the park opened so that we didn't have to wait for hours in line for the main ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

Of course, the combination of super fast speed walking and waiting in line meant that this prego was super happy to take the chicken door (since I couldn't do the ride) and go find a potty. :)

Hogsmeade

After all that Harry Potter-ness, we wandered through the rest of the park and had a fantastically chill lunch at Mythos, which has earned awards several years in a row as one of the best theme park retaurants.

Cute parents.... Glad they're mine.

Please notice Becca cheesin' it up on the far left. :)

We had tons of fun at Universal, I'll try to get up the pictures from our last day of vacation within the next month.... hehe.

The real life of my dogs

Look at those vicious puppies wrestling on my couch... :)

*Please note that we cover the couch with blankets becasue my dogs like to preen like cats and I don't want their slobber all over the cushions.

Look who got mail!

It's from her Grand Nana, my Nana.

Someday, I'm going to be a Nana so that I can then become a Grand Nana, because I think it sounds a lot like Grand Dame. :)

Prego Thoughts

The other day a lady, who I haven't seen since last fall, asked me very hesitantly if I was pregnant...

I did answer appropriately but here are some of the answers that crossed my mind:

-Nope, I'm a professional eater and just had a practice session.

-I accidentally ate a watermelon seed and this is the result. I'm going to see if there's a Guinness record for biggest fruit grown in belly. :)

-Actually, I have a giant stomach tumor but it doesn't affect my daily life at all.

And, a few weeks ago, one of my co-workers (who doesn't have any kids yet so he just doesn't know much about pregnancy) told me that I was really starting to look pregnant and he was wondering I was feeling pregnant yet..... bahahaha, I was probably 23 weeks at this point and I wanted to laugh very hard because I think anyone who has been pregnant (or married to someone who's been pregnant) knows that you feel pregnant WAY before you look it.

This quilt was made for Olivia by our friend, Alisha. Isn't it gorgeous! I feel so blessed that our friends love Olivia so much.

**If anyone else is interested in quilts and blankets such as this, Alisha will be launching a website soon. Yay!
